Manufacturing

Centrifugal casting

Straight bimetal pipes are manufactured by centrifugal casting, combining a steel outer pipe with a high-chromium cast iron lining.

SHS ceramic lining

Ceramic composite pipes are produced using self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) and centrifugal technology to form a corundum ceramic layer, a transition layer and steel.

Inner-wall induction hardening

The inner surface is rapidly heated and quenched with specialised induction equipment to form a hardened wear-resistant layer, with heat-treatment parameters tailored to material and application.

Automated weld overlay

Fully automated CNC internal weld overlay equipment deposits alloy directly onto the pipe inner surface, creating a metallurgical bond with the steel substrate.
